Geoffrey K Gardner, CPA, has extensive experience in finance and operational leadership within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Finance & Revenue Cycle at Novant Health since January 2009, Gardner is responsible for a broad range of financial operations including financial systems, cost accounting, capital planning, and revenue cycle operations. Previously held positions include Interim Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer for various regions of Novant Health, overseeing multiple healthcare facilities and physician practices. Earlier in the career, Gardner was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at MedQuest Associates, and has held roles at McKesson, Visiting Nurse Health System, Fast Forward, Inc., and Deloitte Consulting. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
