Weijun Luo

Weijun Luo is a seasoned professional in data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Senior Director at Novant Health. Previously, Weijun held multiple roles at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, including Head of the Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning Group and positions as Assistant and Associate Professor in the College of Computing & Informatics. Weijun's experience also includes roles as Lead Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, along with a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Michigan. Weijun earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering/Bioinformatics, with a focus on Machine Learning and Analytics, from the University of Michigan and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Nanjing University.
