Michelle Weese

Michelle Weese currently serves as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Novartis, a newly established role that integrates Global Public/Government Affairs, Communications, Patient Engagement, and Global Health & Sustainability. Previously, Michelle held the position of EVP Corporate Affairs at Bristol Myers Squibb, where responsibilities included leading various global communications and advocacy initiatives. Prior to that, Michelle was the General Secretary for North America at Danone, overseeing legal, regulatory, and corporate social responsibility efforts. Earlier career experiences include founding and leading strat-igence, a communications agency with a notable client roster, as well as serving in multiple leadership roles at Mars, including Global Head of Corporate Communications. Michelle began their career in corporate communications at AFC Enterprises, supporting popular quick-service brands. Education was completed at Georgia State University.
