Jean-Pierre Bodeven began their career in 1988 as a Stagiaire at CSEE. In 1995, they were the President of a club at Alcatel-Lucent. In 2000, they were an Ingénieur Validation PCFS and Ingénieur Support Clients at Alcatel CIT. Jean-Pierre'srole as Ingénieur Support Clients included reproducing customer LAN configurations for debugging and testing solutions, as well as following up on customer problem reports and providing answers to customer requests. Jean-Pierre also conducted integration tests and product tests on the Omniswitch and Bird of Prey product range, defining the test strategy, test plans, and testing SRTB, Fast Spanning Tree, Distributed Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree, and Link Aggregation Across the Stacks functions.

In 2004, Jean-Pierre Bodeven was an Ingénieur Validation et Automatisation de Tests at Alcatel-Lucent. Jean-Pierre developed automated test scenarios for the COM 1360 product, using Python to create scripts for testing network elements using the COM graphical interface. Jean-Pierre also created Python scripts for performance testing, backup, user profile management, and alarm management.

From 2016 to 2018, Jean-Pierre Bodeven worked at Thales Communication & Security as an Ingénieur IVVQ/Automatisation de Tests. Jean-Pierre developed automated test scenarios for the SCADA project of the Doha metro, using Python to create scripts for testing equipment in stations, depots, and tunnels. Jean-Pierre also integrated the scripts with Jenkins to enable continuous integration of the SCADA software, resulting in automated non-regression tests for the 62 pieces of equipment in the Doha metro project. Jean-Pierre also conducted IVVQ tests for the SCADA project, analyzing customer requirements, writing requirements, and creating traceability.

Finally, from 2018 to the present, Jean-Pierre Bodeven has been an Ingénieur Validation QA at NovaSparks. Jean-Pierre'sroles include creating builds for releases, validating new features and bug fixes with manual and automated tests, maintaining and improving tools and scripts used to automate product validation, and developing new tools for monitoring and improving product quality.

Jean-Pierre Bodeven received a Diplôme d'ingénieur en systèmes électroniques et informatique industrielle from IRESTE à Nantes (Ecole Polytech) between 1985 and 1988. Jean-Pierre also received an Expert administratif et financier from IHECF.
