Candice Carter

Candice Carter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information security and technology management. Currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Information Security at Novavax since December 2021, Candice has also held multiple leadership roles within the organization focused on global IT security awareness and training. Prior to this, Candice worked at XPO Logistics, Inc. as an Information Technology Security Analyst, contributing significantly to the organization's cybersecurity initiatives. Candice's diverse career includes a position as a Sales and Marketing Specialist and Lead Pet Stylist at Woof Gang Bakery, where exceptional client engagement played a key role, as well as service as an Information Technology Specialist in the Army National Guard. Educational background includes training from the United States Army, Raleigh Grooming Academy, and a degree from Bridgewater State University obtained between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Candice is a self-published author, with work starting in December 2022.
