Elaine O’Hara

Elaine O'Hara currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for Business Development and Alliances at Novavax, a position held since March 2023. In addition to this role, Elaine is a board member for Home of the Sparrow, a non-profit in Pennsylvania dedicated to assisting women facing homelessness, and Steel Jupiter, a start-up focused on reducing virus transmission. Previously, Elaine held senior positions at Sanofi Vaccines as Chief Commercial Officer for North America, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and Pfizer in various leadership roles, including U.S. Specialty Care anti-infectives and Global Commercial Lead for Vaccines. Elaine's early career included a role as a Senior Consultant with Accenture. Educational credentials comprise an Executive Education Program in Corporate Governance from Harvard Business School, an M.B.A. in Marketing from Saint Joseph's University, and a BA in Music History and French from University College Cork.
