Sean Cumbie

Sean Cumbie has extensive experience in global supply chain management and strategic sourcing. Sean is currently the Sr. Vice President of Global Supply Chain & Strategic Sourcing at Novavax, where they oversee various aspects of the supply chain, including planning, production, logistics, and procurement. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Global Sourcing and Procurement at Novavax.

Before joining Novavax, Sean worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in supply chain and procurement. Sean also held the position of Head of Procurement, Global Biotech at AstraZeneca, where they led a team focused on global procurement for research and development, facility management, and biotech ventures.

Sean's previous experience includes roles such as Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management at QIAGEN and Senior Director of Global Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at MedImmune. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies and managing large teams.

Earlier in their career, Sean served as the Sr. Director of Global Logistics at Novellus Systems, Inc., where they were in charge of inventory management, distribution, and transportation across multiple regions.
