Veena R. Kumar

Veena R. Kumar, MD, MPH has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Veena is currently serving as the Executive Medical Director of Global Medical Affairs at Novavax since 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Medical Director of Global Medical Affairs at Novavax from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining Novavax, Veena worked at Emergent BioSolutions from 2018 to 2020 as a Senior Medical Director of Global Medical Affairs.

From 2008 to 2016, Veena was the Medical Director of US Medical Affairs at MedImmune/AstraZeneca.
