Mike Conboy

Mike Conboy is currently an advisor at NovaXS, a biotech corporation they founded and served as CEO of previously. Prior to that, they worked at Harvard Medical School and UCSF Innovation Ventures.

Conboy has experience in advancing academic discoveries along the translational path to commercialization and patient benefit. Mike participated in the Catalyst Awards Program at UCSF, which reviews and mentors early-stage ideas with commercialization potential.

At NovaXS, Conboy was responsible for defining the unmet medical needs being addressed by the company's products, assessing commercialization potential, opportunity for intellectual property, development feasibility for early-stage ideas, and defining key milestones on the development path.

Mike Conboy received their PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard Medical School. Mike also holds a BS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to their time at Harvard, they were a PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
