Stojan Kovačević

Head of NCORE Engineering Services Business Unit at NOVELIC

Stojan Kovačević has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

Starting in 2009, they worked at RT-RK Institute for Computer Based Systems as a DSP Firmware Engineer, where they developed firmware for audio DSPs and handled customer correspondence. Stojan also worked on embedded systems projects and participated in an internship during their time at the institute.

In 2011, Kovačević took on a part-time role at Lines d.o.o as an Embedded Systems Engineer, focusing on firmware development for a PLC-like device with various external interfaces.

From 2013 to 2016, they returned to RT-RK Institute for Computer Based Systems, serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Technical Lead Automotive, and working on projects related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and safety modules for off-highway ECUs.

In 2016, Kovačević joined Zühlke Group as an Expert Software Engineer, where they worked on next-generation elevator controller software. Stojan later became the Head of Competence Unit, leading a multidisciplinary team and overseeing remote product development for clients.

Currently, they hold the position of Head of NCORE Engineering Services Business Unit at NOVELIC, where they are responsible for the entire Business Unit, including sales support, project management, team leadership, and geographic expansion.

Stojan Kovačević's education history begins with their high school studies at Šabačka gimnazija from the years 2000 to 2004, where they earned their High School Diploma in the field of Natural Sciences. Stojan then pursued higher education at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Microcomputer Electronics. In 2019, they attended Hult Ashridge for executive leadership training, although no specific degree was mentioned for this program.
