Andy Preston

Andy Preston has a diverse work experience in the engineering and project management field. Andy started their career at Mesa Associates, Inc as a Drafter, where they drafted and modified piping and instrumentation diagrams. Andy then joined Novelis as an Engineer II, running customer equipment and designing and testing new tooling. At Novelis, they also served as a Pilot Line Supervisor, leading a team in conducting trials and launching a production line. Andy later became a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Novelis, where they managed construction projects, oversaw installation and commissioning of systems, and managed research and development projects. After working at Mesa Associates, Inc as a Project Manager, overseeing industrial projects primarily in the aluminum industry, Andy returned to Novelis as a Lead Project Engineer, assisting with large capital projects and managing the acquisition of overhead cranes.

Andy Preston attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
