Blake Zuidema

Blake Zuidema is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the materials and metallurgical engineering field. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Development at Novelis since June 2018, Zuidema held key positions at ArcelorMittal from June 2003 to June 2018, including Director and Manager of Automotive Product Applications. Prior experience includes a role as Director of R&D at National Steel Corporation from June 1991 to June 2003 and Manager of R&D at Howmet Corporation from September 1984 to June 1991. Zuidema holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (M.S.) in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in the same field, all from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
