Joao Felipe Carvalho de Moraes

Joao Felipe Carvalho de Moraes is currently a Senior Joining Engineer II at Novelis with previous experience at Ford Motor Company as a Joining Engineer. Joao Felipe also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama Graduate School. Joao has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, along with a Master's Degree in the same field. Joao Felipe holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Automotive Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. During their internships, Joao conducted low cycle fatigue tests of high strength steels thin sheets and assisted in self-pierce riveting simulations.
