Pierre-David Andre

Pierre-David Andre serves as the Operation Manager for the Hot Mill at Novelis since April 2010, leading a team of 100 in producing high-quality aluminum for the aerospace sector. Key achievements include enhancing employee engagement and achieving record qualification times for automotive alloys. Previously, as Regional Quality Manager, Pierre-David won the Novelis Excellence Award for the "Novelis Europe Quality Roadmap" project. As Plant Quality Manager in Göttingen, achievements included a 90% reduction in claim rates and the implementation of World Class Manufacturing initiatives. Pierre-David's earlier roles as Senior Development Engineer and Product Development Engineer contributed to significant productivity improvements and successful project implementations across global teams. Prior experience includes a development engineer role at Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems, focusing on ceramic substrate manufacturing enhancements. Pierre-David holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from EPFL.
