Randy Bell

Randy Bell has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Randy began their career in 1995 at Rockwell Automation, where they managed a strategic information center and was responsible for budgeting, strategic planning, and contract negotiation. After that, they worked at LYRASIS as a Manager of Program Management & Development, overseeing vendor partnerships and contract negotiations. Randy then joined Cadence Group as the Director of Library Operations, where they managed account leads and directed strategy and planning activities.

In 2013, Randy joined Novelis, where they held several roles. As a Virtual Library Manager, they managed the budget for online and hardcopy research collections and served as an evaluator and administrator for electronic resources. Randy also worked as a SharePoint Lead, managing more than fifty websites and providing guidance to other site owners. In addition, Randy was the Digital Signage Administrator, responsible for implementing a digital signage system and managing the content displayed. Randy also led awareness and training efforts for Microsoft Office 365 as the company transitioned to cloud applications. Most recently, Randy took on the role of a Product Portfolio Management (PPM) Administrator and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Lead, where they administered access, trained users, and ensured compliance with GDPR requirements.

Randy Bell has a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. They also hold a Master of Arts in History degree from the same university. Randy obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Additionally, they have a certification in Advanced First Aid & CPR from the American Red Cross, which was obtained in March 2019.
