Russell Fredericks is an experienced automation engineer currently serving as the MMP Lead Automation Engineer at Novelis since June 2013, focusing on global recycling and casting operations. Previous roles at Novelis include Associate Engineering Leader, where responsibilities included managing a multi-disciplined engineering team and overseeing significant capital projects for equipment modernization, as well as hands-on troubleshooting and technical support. With earlier experience as a Senior Electrical Technician at RR Donnelley, where industrial control systems and automation were key focus areas, and as a programmer/automation technologist at RLC Consulting, Russell has developed a strong foundation in automation and control systems, further enhanced by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
