Anne-Sarah Briand

Anne-Sarah Briand's work experience includes roles as a Datalab Manager, Data Science & Data Quality Lead, and Senior Data Scientist at NOVENCIA Group since 2021. Anne-Sarah previously worked as a Senior Data Scientist at VISEO from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they were a Doctoral Student in Machine Learning at Ifsttar from 2014 to 2018, where they analyzed public transportation data and detected unusual events. Anne-Sarah also worked as a Programming Statistics Teacher at IUT Paris Descartes from 2014 to 2017, teaching R and SAS programming. Anne-Sarah gained research experience as a Research Intern at Polytechnique Montréal in 2015, studying the usage of public transportation. Additionally, they worked as an Applied Mathematics Intern at CIRAD in 2014, where they modeled the growth and development of mango plants.

Anne-Sarah Briand has a strong educational background in data analysis and mathematics. Anne-Sarah obtained a Doctorate in Data Analysis from Université Paris-Est from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from 2012 to 2014. Anne-Sarah also pursued undergraduate studies at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in General and Applied Mathematics from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their academic degrees, Anne-Sarah Briand has obtained certifications in various areas. Anne-Sarah is a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, having received this certification from Microsoft in June 2021. Anne-Sarah also completed a specialization in Deep Learning from Coursera in 2018.
