Peter Afiuny

Peter Afiuny is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the materials and recycling industries. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President at Noveon Magnetics Inc. since November 2012, Peter Afiuny focuses on transforming the supply of Nd-Fe-B rare earth magnets with sustainable manufacturing approaches. From January 2021 to May 2023, Peter Afiuny provided strategic advisory services to the Ames Laboratory's Critical Materials Institute, contributing to solutions for critical materials. Additionally, from July 2019 to May 2023, Peter Afiuny participated in NATO's Applied Vehicle Technology Panel, tasked with investigating novel materials and supply chains to address rare earth criticality. Earlier, Peter Afiuny was Vice President at BCS Recycling Specialists from January 2009 to August 2013, where efforts centered on maximizing asset value through effective recycling practices.
