Caitlin Johnson has worked in the product development and project management field since 2006. Caitlin began their career as an Assistant Technical Designer at Dream Apparel Group LLC in 2006. Caitlin then moved to Sears Holdings Corporation as an Associate Technical Designer in 2007. In 2008, they were a Technical Designer at J.Crew. From 2009 to 2016, they were a Product Development Manager and Technical Designer at Target. During their time there, they led a cross-functional team in the execution of a $100M product portfolio, driving an 18-month development timeline for two brands. One of their greatest achievements was upgrading their Men's glove program to a 3M Thinsulate fill material, which reduced development cost by $20K, improved product quality, and increased YOY sales. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Senior Project Manager at Century Source International. During their time there, they managed a team in the creation and execution of project plans and trend strategies for five national retail accounts. Caitlin also implemented a technical design workflow that not only streamlined product delivery and factory communication but also reduced their sample development times by 25%. Caitlin is currently a Senior Project Manager at Novidan, Inc. where they manage three separate project portfolios with five different product categories, managing unique timelines, workflows, and resources for the cross-functional project teams. One of their greatest achievements here has been collaborating cross-functionally to revamp their planning and scheduling process which has increased their on-time delivery by 55% and continues to improve.

Caitlin Johnson obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design, Merchandising, and Production from Iowa State University. In 2015, they also obtained a Certified Professional Project Manager certification from the University of St. Thomas.
