David Canellos

David Canellos has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 2001 as the General Manager and Vice President of Sales, Americas for Cramer Systems (now Amdocs). In 2004, they joined Irdeto, A Division of Naspers, where they held the roles of Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, President of Cloakware, and Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales of Cloakware. In 2011, they became the President and CEO of Perspecsys Inc. (now Blue Coat Systems) and a Board Member, Non-Executive Director of Resilient Systems, Inc. (now IBM). In 2015, they moved to Blue Coat Systems (now Symantec) as the Senior Vice President, Advanced Technology Group. In 2016, they joined Symantec as the Senior Vice President, Global Service Providers. In 2019, they were appointed as the President and CEO of Ericom Software and an Official Member of Forbes Technology Council. David also became a Board Member, Non-Executive Director of Tresorit (now Swiss Post) and NoviFlow Inc. in 2019.

David Canellos has a varied educational background. David attended ACS Athens (American Community Schools), Rantoul Township High School, and Oakton High School. David then went on to George Mason University, where they earned a BS in Biology and completed coursework toward a Ph.D. in Information Systems. David also earned an MA in International Transactions from the Schar School of Policy and Government. Finally, they attended Harvard Business School for Executive Education in Effective Strategies for Media Companies.
