Mohamed Mohammed

Mohamed Mohammed has worked in the accounting field since 2012. Mohamed began their career as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Quincaillerie Richelieu Ltée/Richelieu Hardware Ltd., where they were responsible for carriers' cost analysis, accounts payable for Ontario, Québec, Atlantic provinces, and the USA, and auditing of suppliers' invoices and payment within terms. In 2014, they moved to Agence Braque as a Staff Accountant, where they completed the accounting cycle, produced reports, and remitted GST/QST/HST along with payroll deductions. In 2018, they joined CANDEREL GROUP as a Project Accountant, where they analyzed variances on the P & L, assisted in the preparation of the annual budget, determined depreciation rates, furnished internal and external reports, maintained year-end working papers and spreadsheets, and oversaw cash flow requirements. Most recently, in 2020, Mohamed Mohammed joined NoviFlow Inc. as a Financial Controller.

Mohamed Mohammed has a diverse educational background. Mohamed began their studies in 2005 at Dawson College, where they earned a DEC in Pure and Applied Science. In 2011, they continued their studies at Collège O'Sullivan de Montréal, where they earned an AEC in Financial Accounting. In 2014, they began their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) at École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), majoring in Accounting and Finance. In 2015, they also completed a Certificate in Business Startup at College MAC (Multicultural Academy Canada), with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
