Laura Carino

Laura Carino is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Talent Management and Development at Novi Community School District since July 2019. Previously, Laura held the position of Elementary Principal at Plymouth-Canton Community Schools from July 2017 to July 2019, as well as at Livonia Public Schools from June 2013 to July 2017. Laura began a career in education as a First Grade Teacher at Ann Arbor Public Schools and National Heritage Academies. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and an Educational Specialist degree from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University.
