Winnie Lau

Winnie Lau has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. In 2016, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays. From 2018 to 2019, they held a role in Operations at Ollie (Inc). In 2019, they began their journey as an entrepreneur, co-founding Calm Canine Academy and serving as the Head of Growth & Acquisition Marketing. In the same year, they also worked as the Chief of Staff and Director of Growth & Operations at Allay Lamp, a company that specializes in soothing light technology. Winnie was also involved in the pharmaceutical industry, serving as Chief of Staff and Head of Operations at Novilla Pharmaceuticals. Winnie ended their corporate career at Headliner Labs, where they were the Chief of Staff and Sales Operations Manager. Winnie worked there until it was acquired by Forward PMX in 2020. Prior to their corporate ventures, Winnie worked as an Invited Researcher and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University Medical Center, conducting research under the guidance of Dr. Esther Francisco and Dr. Rea Dabelic in the Racaniello Lab.

Winnie Lau's education history began in 2009 when they attended Bergen County Academies, focusing on the Academy for the Advancement of Science and Technology. Winnie completed their studies there in 2013. Following that, they pursued higher education at NYU Stern School of Business from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a degree in Finance and Social Work.
