Edouard Clement has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.
Edouard is currently serving as the Executive Director at the Energy Modelling Hub, where they are responsible for creating a national network of energy and electricity modellers, policymakers, and experts to support the transformation of Canada's energy systems.
Prior to their current role, Edouard was the Product Evangelist & Co-founder at Novisto, a software company that assists corporations in ESG (environmental, social, and governance) reporting and CSR management. At Novisto, they helped sustainability managers improve data collection efficiency, benchmark performance, and communicate effectively with investors.
During their tenure at Esplanade Montréal, Edouard held multiple roles. Edouard served as an Entrepreneur in Residence and Business Coach, providing guidance to startups. Additionally, they worked as the Director of the Innovation Hub and Partnerships, fostering collaborations between businesses and promoting innovation.
Before joining Esplanade Montréal, Edouard worked at Groupe AGÉCO as a Senior CSR Consultant and later as the Vice-President of Corporate Responsibility Services. Edouard specialized in economic studies in the agri-food sector and provided comprehensive corporate responsibility services focused on social, economic, and environmental aspects.
Edouard also co-founded and held leadership positions at Quantis Canada, a sustainability consulting firm. As the Managing Director and Co-founder, they led the implementation of Quantis' activities in the Canadian market and provided sustainability strategy and management consulting services. Edouard also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder, overseeing administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the company.
Earlier in their career, Edouard worked at CIRAIG as the Technical and Industrial Relations Coordinator, managing a team of analysts and specializing in environmental modeling and life cycle assessment. Edouard was also an Analyst at CIRAIG, involved in clean technology research projects.
Prior to that, Edouard worked at GE Energy as an Engineer in the Technical Sales Leadership Program. Edouard performed business analysis and developed e-solutions for the GE Hydro pricing and marketing team.
Edouard's work experience also includes research and teaching positions at the école de technologie, where they served as a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant.
Throughout their career, Edouard has demonstrated expertise in energy modeling, CSR management, innovation, sustainability consulting, and clean technology research.
Edouard Clement attended Polytechnique Montréal from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained an ing. degree and M.Sc.A. in Engineering. Their field of study during this time was Engineering. Prior to attending Polytechnique Montréal, Edouard's educational background is unknown.
In terms of additional certifications, Edouard obtained a Certified volunteer speaker for Climate Reality Canada from The Climate Reality Project in August 2013. Edouard also completed a GRI Certified Training Course from the Global Reporting Initiative in April 2013. It is not specified if they obtained any certifications for SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT.
