Catarina Cardoso

Catarina Cardoso is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Banco Best and as Chief of Staff to the CEO at novobanco, Catarina has held prominent roles including Head of Strategy, Planning and Control and Chief Transformation Officer at Caixa Geral de Depósitos. Prior to these positions, Catarina was the General Director at Associação Portuguesa de Bancos and worked as an Advisor to the Board of Directors at IGCP - Portuguese Treasury and Debt Management Agency. An extensive career at Citi included roles such as FX and Commodities Sales, Securities Country Manager, and various managerial positions. Catarina holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a post-graduation in Monetary and Financial Economics from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management.
