Ajithavalli Chellappan

Ajithavalli Chellappan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research data management, software engineering, and genomic analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Research Data Steward at Novo Nordisk since January 2023, Ajithavalli implements data management practices for biological data, focusing on lineage tracking and metadata enrichment. Prior to this role, Ajithavalli worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific from November 2018 to December 2022, where responsibilities included leading backend development of high-throughput primer designer software for the Ion AmpliSeq platform and developing efficient algorithms for sequencing panels. Earlier experience includes research roles at Tata Consultancy Services, the National Centre for Biological Sciences, and the Indian Academy of Sciences.
