Alejandro Mas Monteys

Alejandro (Alex) Mas Monteys is a Principal Scientist at Novo Nordisk since February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant Professor and Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania from October 2017 to December 2022, and as a Scientist I at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from April 2014 to October 2017. Alejandro's earlier roles include Associate Research Scientist, Research Scientist, and Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Iowa Health Care from August 2004 to April 2014. Alejandro earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 1997 and 2003.
