Cecilie Heerdegen Jepsen

Cecilie Heerdegen Jepsen serves as the Head of Translational Medicine and Senior Director at Novo Nordisk from April 2023 to June 2025, following significant roles in precision medicine and biomarkers within clinical drug development. Prior experience includes a PhD student position at the University of Copenhagen from March 2013 to March 2017 and research fellowships at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2011 to May 2014. Additionally, Cecilie practiced as a physician at Region Hovedstaden from March 2007 to December 2010. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Translational Medicine from the University of Copenhagen and a master’s degree in medicine from the same institution.
