Claudia Laven is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President of Obesity Care at Novo Nordisk since September 2016, where previous roles include Senior Director of the Obesity Business Unit in Germany and Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Germany. Laven began their career at Novo Nordisk as a Global Marketing Graduate, completing rotations in various departments, including Obesity Sales and Insulin Marketing. Prior to this, Laven worked as a Project Manager in Digital Marketing at PHARMABRAIN GmbH and gained experience as a Strategic Innovation Intern at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants, as well as a Trade Marketing Intern at Bayer HealthCare. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in International Management from CEMS, a double degree in International Management from Rotterdam School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a major in Marketing from Maastricht University. Further studies were completed during a semester at the University of Sydney and an undergraduate semester abroad at UQAM.
