Mie Berke

Mie Berke is a Laboratory Animal Veterinarian at Novo Nordisk since September 2024, previously serving as Department Manager at Gubra from November 2021 to August 2024, where Mie managed a cross-functional team conducting research studies in the metabolic field, specializing in obesity, NASH/MASH, and diabetes. Mie has experience as a Research Scientist, serving as Study Director and Principal Investigator for in vivo pharmacology studies. Mie's academic involvement includes a Research and Teaching Assistant position in Laboratory Animal Science at the University of Copenhagen and a PhD focused on optimizing animal models of pain and inflammation. Educationally, Mie holds a PhD in In vivo Pharmacology, a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine, and a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, all from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
