Rory Donovan-Maiye is a highly experienced senior scientist currently at Novo Nordisk since February 2021. Previously, Rory held the position of senior scientist in computational biology and machine learning at the Allen Institute for Cell Science from April 2017 to February 2021. Prior to that, Rory was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Systems Biology from May 2016 to April 2017 and a graduate student fellow/researcher at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh from September 2011 to May 2016. Rory's early career included experience as a graduate student researcher/teaching assistant/fellow at the University of Washington from June 2004 to December 2006. Educationally, Rory earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Reed College, followed by a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Washington, and completed dual Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.
