Stephen Gough

Stephen Gough is currently the Global Chief Medical Officer at Novo Nordisk. Prior to this, they were a Senior Principal Clinical Scientist at Novo Nordisk from October 2015 to January 2020. From February 2010 to September 2015, they were a Professor of Diabetes at the University of Oxford. From August 1996 to May 2010, they were a Professor of Medicine at the University of Birmingham.

Stephen Gough attended the University of Leeds, where they studied medicine and earned their MBChB. Stephen then attended Lancaster Royal Grammar School.

Stephen Gough reports to Martin Holst Lange, EVP, Head of Development. Stephen Gough works with Kenneth Strømdahl - Senior Vice President, Device R&D, Robin Evers - Senior Vice President.
