Susanne Hundsbæk-Pedersen

Susanne Hundsbæk-Pedersen joined Novo Nordisk in 2002, and has held positions as head of Procurement, Divisional CFO for Global Product Supply and IT prior to her current role. She is responsible for the global end-to-end Supply Chain Management operations, ranging from procurement across manufacturing planning and the distribution to global affiliates.

Her organization bridges efforts in R&D with Operations in order to ensure efficient ramp-up and optimization of the device manufacturing processes and the packaging operation. This includes precision plastic moulding operation and needle manufacturing operation with a global reach across US, Brazil, Europe and China.Novo Nordisk Contract manufacturing set-up and local manufacturing resides within Susanne’s area of responsibility which includes factories in Japan, Russia, Algeria and a number of partnership set-ups in multiple countries. Susanne is a member on the Supply Chain Advisory Group to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
