Katherine Evans

Katherine Evans is currently the Chief Nursing Officer & SVP of Clinical Services at Novocardia. Katherine has previously held positions as the President of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA), DNP Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgia State University, and a Nurse Practitioner & Clinical Advisor at UnitedHealth Group. Katherine is also a corporate advisory board member and has been a clinical preceptor at Emory University.

Katherine has been a nurse practitioner for over 10 years and has experience in managing long term care patients, treating acute illnesses, and providing education to nursing staff on various topics. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of Novocardia and ensuring that patients receive high quality care.

Katherine Evans went to Vanderbilt University for their Doctor of Nursing Practice, Emory University for their Master of Science in Nursing, and The University of Memphis for their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Katherine is certified as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse, a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, and a Family Nurse Practitioner.
