Ana Maestre-Merens Ph.D., Bcmas

Ana Maestre-Merens, PhD, BCMAS, is a seasoned professional in medical communications with substantial experience in oncology, particularly lung cancer, mesothelioma, and glioblastoma. Currently serving as Manager of Global Medical Communications at Novocure since August 2018, Ana is responsible for the development and execution of strategic communications aligned with Medical Affairs objectives, mentoring junior specialists, and leading cross-functional collaborations during product launches. Previously, Ana co-founded and directed Fostering Docs, facilitating mentoring programs for postdoctoral researchers, and held leadership positions in the Españoles Científicos en USA (ECUSA). Ana has also gained valuable teaching experience in microbiology and has an extensive research background, including postdoctoral work at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Ana holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and is a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist.
