Oren Bakalo

Oren Bakalo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and project management, currently serving as the Director of Treatment Planning & Digital Applications at Novocure since January 2019. In this role, Oren manages an engineering department dedicated to creating clinical customer-facing software products, overseeing a team of over 25 engineers and driving product milestones in a customer-centric manner. Previously, Oren held several positions at Novocure, including Senior Manager of Software Applications and Senior Project Manager, contributing to the planning, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions. With additional experience at a defense systems company in program management and technical roles, as well as earlier positions at Philips Medical Systems and Amdocs, Oren combines strong leadership skills with a solid technical background, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Haifa.
