Kwok Fong has a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) engineering with experience at multiple companies. From 2016, Fong worked at NovoEd as a Software QA Engineer, where they developed and executed test cases on web and mobile platforms. They also assisted with support issue investigations and utilized JIRA for bug tracking and TestRail for test case management.
Prior to NovoEd, Fong worked at Amdocs starting in 2000 as a Senior QA Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing functional and regression test cases for the Amdocs Retail Experience web application. They also manually executed REST API calls and checked responses using the Advanced REST Client Chrome plugin. Additionally, Fong automated test cases for the Amdocs Smart Client Framework, using Eclipse/JUnit/FEST.
Before Amdocs, Fong worked at Clarify CRM from 1994 to 2000. Initially, they served as a QA Engineer, executing black box testing for Clarify CRM products and managing defects using Clear Quality. They also conducted smoke tests for creating and upgrading Clarify databases in Oracle and MSSQL RDBMS. Fong further automated functional workflows for the Clarify MFC Client application using in-house recording and playback test scripts.
At Clarify CRM, Fong also held the role of Customer Support Assistant for a brief period from September to December 1994. In this position, they executed and maintained software release scripts in Unix Bourne shell and created and distributed software media on magnetic tapes and installers.
Kwok Fong completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Information Systems, General from San Francisco State University in 1994.
