Lei Bao has extensive work experience in the field of User Experience. They started their career as a User Interface Designer at FICO, myFICO.com in 2006, where they focused on creating user-friendly websites and products. They then worked as a User Interface and Flash Designer at Michigan State University from 2007 to 2009, operating remotely from San Francisco. Lei later joined Charles Schwab as a Digital Production Artist contractor in 2009.
In 2010, Lei began working at Yahoo, initially as a Sr. User Experience Designer in the Premium Services Infrastructure group. They collaborated with development and product teams to enhance the user experience of premium services. Lei later moved to the Y! Design language team, designing solutions for Yahoo! Membership on desktop and mobile devices. In 2013, they led the redesign of Yahoo Messenger's desktop client. Lei eventually became a Principal User Experience Designer at Yahoo in 2014, before leaving the company in 2015.
Since 2015, Lei has been working at NovoEd, first as a Director of User Experience and currently as a Sr. Director of User Experience.
Lei Bao has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University of China. Additionally, they hold a Master of Arts degree in Digital Media Art and Technology from Michigan State University.
