Preeti Ashok

Preeti Ashok is a Senior Scientist and Team Lead in Cell Biology at Novoheart, starting in October 2023, with prior experience as a Senior Scientist at Cytovia Therapeutics from October 2021 to October 2023. At Cytovia, Preeti optimized differentiation and expansion protocols for human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived NK cells and conducted various cell-based assays, while maintaining cross-functional relationships among gene editing and pre-clinical teams. Preeti previously served as a Scientist focused on process development of iPSC-derived and gene-edited NK cells, and gained significant research experience as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Tufts University from 2014 to 2021, where contributions included developing a xeno-free medium for cardiomyocyte differentiation and conducting proteomics on exosomes. Preeti holds a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Tufts University, an MS from Oklahoma State University, and a BS from Anna University Chennai.
