Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has been working in the field of business development since 2003. Ryan began their career as a Sales Director at Apple Computers/Comp USA in 2003. In 2005, they became the Founder/Head of Business Development at Satyrne Medical, a medical device start-up in cranio maxillo-facial products. In 2007, they became an Account Executive and Director of Sales and Marketing at PhDx Systems, where they recruited new customers and managed the sales process for software and IT services. In 2013, they became a Director of Business Development at MedAvante, where they managed US and OUS sales for a complete platform of signal detection solutions in CNS indications. In 2018, they became a Sr. Director of Strategic Solutions at AiCure, where they led all West Coast business development and managed customer relationships. In 2020, they became a SAAS Technology and Pharmacovigilance Specialist at Veeva Systems. In 2021, they became a Principal of Mobile Health Solutions at Medidata Solutions. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Vice President of Business Development at Novoic, where they work to drive easy and accurate diagnosis of neurological diseases.

Ryan Smith completed a Certificate- Building Organizational Cultures: A Framework for Leaders from Harvard Extension School in 2020. In 2008, they completed Public Speaking and Sales from Dale Carnegie Training in the field of Communication. From 2004 to 2007, they earned a Masters of Business from UNM Anderson School of Management in Technology Development. Lastly, they completed a Bachelor of Communications from The University of New Mexico in 2004, majoring in Journalism.
