Steve Champion has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. Steve began their career in 1999 as a Programmer at Duro Bag Manufacturing Company. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Project Engineer, where they played a crucial role in software development, business intelligence, and database administration.

In 2007, Steve joined Novolex as the Director of IT, Designer. Steve managed the IT department for 2 manufacturing facilities and division headquarters. During their tenure, they successfully implemented an IT carve-out to separate systems and oversaw day-to-day operations.

In 2011, they were promoted to the role of VP of Information Systems at Novolex. In this position, Steve managed all aspects of IT, including a $5 million annual budget and a team of 8 FTEs. Steve consolidated IT groups from 2 divisions, which led to improved service delivery and created EBITDA synergies. Steve also led the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX to replace legacy ERP systems.

In 2014, Steve was promoted again to the position of VP of Information Technology at Novolex. Steve led a 45-member IT team that supported the company's rapid growth through acquisitions, expanding from 10 plants to 46 plants in just 3 years. Steve developed a strategy to transform infrastructure, rationalize the ERP footprint, and support future acquisitions. Steve also integrated 5 acquisitions within a span of 3 years.
