Assem Alshoufi

Assem Alshoufi serves as the Group Legal Director at Novomed since January 2021, previously holding the position of Head of Legal Department at Ismail Al Khaja & Sons Group from January 2018 to January 2021. During this time, Alshoufi focused on managing the legal department, enhancing legal policies, and ensuring the Group's compliance with regulatory requirements. Prior roles include Group Legal Advisor at Gulf General Investment Co PSC, where legal counsel was provided on various contracts and regulatory matters, and Legal Consultant at Bin Sevan Advocates & Legal Consultants, focusing on legal negotiation and document review. Alshoufi began a legal career as a Trainee Lawyer at Maged Wahba Law Firm, conducting legal research and client consultations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from Damascus University and a Diploma in Business Administration from IAI University in the Netherlands.
