Hanan Hussein

Hanan Hussein is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Novomed Centers since January 2019 and has been a Professor of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, since 1996. Hanan evaluates and treats psychiatric patients, supervises clinical research, and teaches medical students and postgraduate candidates. Previous experience includes serving as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Dubai Community Health Center from December 2016 to December 2018, focusing on a range of psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Hanan also worked at the American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology from June 2013 to December 2016, treating various psychiatric conditions. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry, a Diploma of Psychiatric Practice, a Master's in Neuropsychiatry, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. Areas of interest include child and adolescent psychiatry and women's mental health. Fluent in both English and Arabic.
