Martin Kullen

Martin Kullen currently serves as Vice President of Human Health Science & Innovation at Novonesis since January 2024. Prior to this role, Martin held the position of Vice President of Microbe Research at Novozymes from November 2021 to February 2024. Martin's extensive experience includes a tenure as Group R&D Lead for Health at International Flavors & Fragrances, overseeing global research and development in areas such as probiotics and microbiome research. Martin also led global R&D at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences, focusing on microbiome, probiotics, and dietary fibers. Previous roles include Senior Director of Global Nutritional Sciences at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and Director of Nutrition Research at Wyeth Nutrition. Early in the career, Martin worked as a Senior Scientist at The Coca-Cola Company and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at North Carolina State University. Martin holds a BS and MS in Nutrition from The University of Georgia and a PhD in Human Nutrition with a minor in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota.
