Patrick Kabouw

Patrick Kabouw is an experienced professional in the field of agricultural BioSolutions and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Global Advocacy Lead for Plant BioSolutions at Novonesis since December 2022. Prior roles include Regulatory Manager at Novonesis, where duties involved project management for biological solutions, and Manager of Global Regulatory Affairs at BASF, focusing on registration and advocacy. Kabouw is actively involved in multiple organizations, serving as the Moderator for the natural substances regulatory and advocacy working group at IBMA and as Chair of the Euroseed Committee for Seed Treatment and Production. With a strong academic background, including PhDs in Ecology from Royal Academy of Science Netherlands and Wageningen University & Research, as well as a Master's degree from the University of Vienna, Kabouw combines scientific expertise with regulatory insight to advocate for sustainable agricultural practices.
