Sharon James

Sharon James is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in biotechnology and consumer health sectors. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Innovation Committee at Novonesis since February 2024 and Chair of Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust since October 2022, Sharon has previously held significant roles, including Senior Advisor at Bain & Company and Non-Executive Director at Mölnlycke. From February 2020 to February 2024, Sharon was also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Innovation Committee at Novozymes. Sharon’s background includes serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Global Research & Development for Bayer's Consumer Health Division and Chief Research & Development Officer at RB. With a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from UCL and additional qualifications from Henley Business School and Royal Holloway, Sharon has a proven track record in driving innovation and leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes environments.
