William Throndset

William Throndset possesses extensive experience in microbial physiology and fermentation, currently serving as Sr Manager of the Microbial Pilot Plant at both Novonesis and Novozymes since early 2023. Previous roles include Senior Director of Fermentation at Perfect Day and Director at Absci. William's career began in research and applications specializing in flow cytometry and microfluidics with positions at Rigel, BD, and Fluidigm Corporation. William spent a significant period as a Scientist at DuPont Industrial Biosciences, focusing on molecular biology techniques. William holds a PhD in Microbiology from The University of Manchester, an MBA from National University, and a BA in Biology from Lehman College.
