John Jairo Morales

John Jairo Morales has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John Jairo is currently working as an Engineering Manager at NovoPayment since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Technology Innovation Manager at Autónomo from November 2019 to April 2021.

From March 2016 to November 2019, John worked at OmniPayments LLC as a Lead Account Manager. In this role, they demonstrated their expertise in managing technology and software projects in the financial sector, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.

Before joining OmniPayments LLC, John worked at Banco Agrario de Colombia as a Gerente de proyecto Capa de integración y Switch transaccional from December 2014 to April 2016. John Jairo also served as the Jefe de Tecnología y producción at Carvajal Tecnología y Servicios from December 2009 to October 2014.

Earlier in their career, John held the position of Jefe de Tecnología at Pointpay Colombia from July 2006 to December 2009. John Jairo started their professional journey at Redeban Multicolor in February 1992, where they worked as a Profesional II. During their time there, they were responsible for programming schedules for equipment repair and logistics processes for equipment maintenance.

John Jairo Morales completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Network and Systems Administration at Universidad Central in Colombia from 2002 to 2006. In 2014, they attended HP EDUCATION for a short course on HP Integrity Nonstop NS2000/NS2200 Server in the field of Information Technology and Systems Technology. That same year, they pursued a specialization in Technology Management at Universidad EAN. In 2013, they received preparation for the PMP exam at SESTRA CONSULTING, focusing on Project Management. In 2012, they obtained a certification in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) from IQ Information Quality. Additionally, in 2011, they completed a course in Information Security at Universidad Piloto de Colombia, and in 2010, they gained certification in ITIL V3 Foundation for IT Service Management from HP EDUCATION.
