Kevin Gao

Kevin Gao has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Kevin started their career as a Data Manager at Pfizer (China) from 2009 to 2012. Kevin then joined Sanofi as a Data Management - Project Lead from 2012 to 2014, where they managed the clinical data management group and completed various data management objectives. After that, Kevin worked at PAREXEL as a Data Operations Leader from 2015 to 2017. Kevin then worked at Chiltern as a Sr. Manager of CDM Operations & Data Project Manager in 2017. Kevin's most recent position was at Novotech, where they held various roles including Head of Data Operations, Associate Director from 2018 to 2020, and later as Head of Data Operations, Director from 2020 until the present. In their roles at Novotech, they demonstrated strong leadership skills in setting up global service centers, managing teams, implementing global data operations processes and platforms, and establishing business partnerships. Kevin also played a strategic role in driving the growth and quality of data operations, managing multiple studies, and fostering relationships with other vendors.

Kevin Gao holds a Master of Data Science degree from the CUNY School of Professional Studies, with a specialization in Medical Data Science, which they obtained from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics at Southern Medical University from 2020 to 2023. Kevin's earlier education includes a Master's Degree in Pharmacology from Jilin University, completed from 2007 to 2009, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Jilin University, obtained from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Kevin has earned numerous certifications in areas such as coaching, business acumen, performance review, and clinical trial data management.
