Laurie Perez

Laurie Perez has worked in various roles over the past decade. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Sailing Instructor and Coordinator at the Palm Beach Sailing Club, where they designed curriculums, provided sailing lessons and materials, and managed strategies to facilitate participation in weekly sailing camps. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Neurosurgery Patient Service Representative - Ambulatory at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, where they greeted visitors, answered telephone calls, and interacted with patients. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Bilingual Healthcare Representative at Change Healthcare, where they maintained and streamlined data collection of claims, client information, and contracts. Currently, they are a Business Data Analyst and Project Manager at Novus Informatics, Inc., where they load files and datasets into the working SQL or other staging environments, assists in the design, development, implementation, and support of interfaces/integrations between systems, and trains and provides support to users of novusreach®.

Laurie Perez obtained a High School Diploma from William T. Dwyer High School in 2014, where they studied Finance. Laurie then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences - Management from the University of South Florida in 2018. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications, including a Bilingual Medical Interpreter from ALTA Language Services, Inc. in 2019, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021, and several certifications from Microsoft, Certiport, edX, and LinkedIn in 2022.
